YU MAN STEAMBOAT, TAMAN MILEK, LUYANG (Steamboat) **NON-HALAL**

This famous steamboat restaurant is located at a residential area in Tmn Milek behind Heritage Plaza.  So far this is the best steamboat restaurant around in terms of variety, freshness and taste.  I've been to quite a lot of steamboat restaurant and one thing that they have in common are the soups are usually tasteless or very very mild and the main purpose is only to boil the food.  You would have to cook quite a bit of ingredients to get any flavour out of it.

but here, the soups are already flavourful, it meant to be a soup to drink..I remember coughing the first time I tasted the Tom Yam soup, it was perfect, sour and hot (spicy). They offered 4 kinds of soup flavours Tom Yam, Chicken, Fish and Herbal soup.

The choices of raw dish includes crabs, prawn, meatballs both pork and beef, meat slices and varieties of fish cakes and balls.

Fresh veggies and taufu

varieties of noodles, mushrooms and taufu pok, among others

not sure what this is lol

cooked food sections

Fruits

condiments

And on my table...

This is a must try! the mixed fruit jelly

aand now its time for ice-cream!

at RM 20.00 per person, its worth it

FIRST WORLD CAFE (Buffet) ***HALAL**

Went to Genting Highland Resort for holiday, stayed at the First World Hotel.  We figured it was easier to eat at the Buffet spread they have at level three.  I didn't get to take many pic of the food, but this will give you some idea of whats offered there

The Main Buffet spread

There was a few cooking station stalls selling fried noodle, duck rice, mussels, stir fried veggies among others

The bird tasted good, the other dish tasted just average

The star of the buffet had to be the dessert spread.  It's one of the best that I've tasted.  They didn't skimp on the ingredients for it.  Would probably the only time I couldn't finish a chocolate dessert because of the too intense taste.   It was as rich chocolatey as it can get.  If what they say is true about the aphrodisiac quality of chocolate, I think half a tea spoon should be enough dose for the day lol.

Fruit..Fruit..

and more fruit! lol

Not to say that its value for money, but its filling :)

SHOGUN JAPANESE BUFFET (Sunway Pyramid Mall) **SERVES NO PORK**

We weren't planning on going to the any Buffet restaurant that day, was just window shopping, until we saw the price..'From 36.50++ all-you-can-eat-buffet!!!!''.... but being that its weekend, the price would of course be slightly higher, about 58++ which is actually very very worth it if you see the spread they prepared ..and they have discount for senior citizen and no charge for kids under 4 years old!

The entrance

the first thing we saw was the Sashimi and Sushi spread..and on that spread alone, you already get your money's worth!

the Salmon was fresh and delicious and I love the crunchy fish skin
