Satay Celup (STEAMBOAT) Tmn Millenium ***non-halal**

There a new steamboat place that was opened about 2 months ago. Its located along the road opposite CKS Tmn Millenium.  It touted as the first restaurant serving satay sauce as part of the soup choices.

The restaurant's atmosphere is nice and relaxing, with tasteful decorations and wooden furniture.  Seems more 'upscale' than most steamboat restaurant.

And the spreads are quite plentiful too.

This was good!

the satay sauce
its actually rather mild and weak tasting

My dishes

This one is yummy

Overall, the raw dishes were fresh and delicious, and some did tasted good with the satay sauce, but some didn't.  Being that the sauce is oily and thick, its so easy to get full very quickly and queasy.  They also give a choice of chicken soup, which is just a very very bland tasting chicken flavoured soup.

I still prefer my soup to be A Soup, instead of just a liquid to boil my food in.  Thats why Yun Man is still better than this.

YU MAN STEAMBOAT, TAMAN MILEK, LUYANG (Steamboat) **NON-HALAL**

This famous steamboat restaurant is located at a residential area in Tmn Milek behind Heritage Plaza.  So far this is the best steamboat restaurant around in terms of variety, freshness and taste.  I've been to quite a lot of steamboat restaurant and one thing that they have in common are the soups are usually tasteless or very very mild and the main purpose is only to boil the food.  You would have to cook quite a bit of ingredients to get any flavour out of it.

but here, the soups are already flavourful, it meant to be a soup to drink..I remember coughing the first time I tasted the Tom Yam soup, it was perfect, sour and hot (spicy). They offered 4 kinds of soup flavours Tom Yam, Chicken, Fish and Herbal soup.

The choices of raw dish includes crabs, prawn, meatballs both pork and beef, meat slices and varieties of fish cakes and balls.

Fresh veggies and taufu

varieties of noodles, mushrooms and taufu pok, among others
